The test setup was a fairly modern mobo [ BIOSTAR TA75M ] & a Pace Model 4111N-031 DSL Modem capable of dishing out DHCP addresses.
NIC was seated in the mobo and connected to the DSL Modem via ethernet cable.
Initially tested with a fully patched W10 OS which recognized the item as a NIC, but as an Unknown Ethernet Controller.
No suitable Windows 10 drivers could be located --
This item is NOT PLUG & PLAY COMPATIBLE with current Windows OSes
-- Booted the computer with a fully patched Ubuntu 20.10.
NIC was recognized and fully fuctional without any further action.
